Extraction Arms – IAP
IAP Air Products offers a full line of Welding Fume Extraction Arms / Snorkels that can be utilized to safely control process fumes, dust, and smoke. Extraction Arms / Snorkels are specially designed for working environments with fumes, light dust, and smoke; where source capture is desired before the contamination has spread into the work environment and could be inhaled.
IAP Extraction Arms
Regardless of the system, capturing fumes at the source is the only effective way to eliminate health hazards, and Extraction Arms / Snorkels are the most common products. Whenever possible, capturing and controlling at the source is the recommended approach.
Source capture involves utilizing hoods to extract the contamination at or near the generation source to protect the worker and prevent the contamination from migrating elsewhere in the facility. It is the most effective means of capture, and requires the least amount of energy and initial investment to accomplish. Source capture is best accomplished utilizing Welding Fume Extraction Arms.

Hanging Fume Extraction Arms
Our Hanging Welding Fume Extraction Arms are used for source capture in welding but can also be applied to extract any vapors, gases, or smoke. They are uniquely suited to purify the air in an industrial setting by extracting the fumes at the source from which they are created. Our hanging fume arms are used to create healthy and safe work environment by pulling fumes away from the welder’s breathing zone.

Standing Fume Extraction Arms
Our Standing Welding Fume Extraction Arms are used in welding but can also be applied to extract any vapours, gases, or smoke. They are uniquely suited to purify the air in an industrial setting by extracting the fumes at the source from which they are created. Our standing fume arms are ideal for welding source capture and create a healthy and safe work environment by pulling fumes away from the welder’s breathing zone. They are attached to mobile units and are capable of moving anywhere in the shop.

Telescopic Fume Extraction Arms
Our Telescopic Welding Fume Extraction Arms are ideal for weld fumes in trade schools. The size makes them perfect weld fume capture devices in small weld booths used in technical schools. These arms offer the same air purifying solution as the articulating fume arms with the added benefit of being a space economical option to allow the user to get the most out of their workspace.

Stainless Steel Fume Extraction Arms
Our Stainless Steel welding fume extraction arms are used in settings where clean equipment is just as important as clean air. The stainless steel and FDA hose makes them great for food plants, vitamin and pharmaceutical production, or corrosive chemical applications. The materials used are of the highest quality and meet the strict approval for use in these environments. The stainless steel components and the FDA hose allow it to be used in “wash-down” applications.
