Features
- Each radial blower model is available with four to six wheel sizes for more airflow selections with a direct drive arrangement.
- Continuous welded housings and teflon shaft seal to prevent air leakage.
- Inlet and discharge flanges drilled per ASA, 150-pound and ANSI, 125-pound standard pipe sizes, are standard.
- Blower housings are reversible and rotatable in 45° increments.
- Removable inlet & drive side plates allow wheel or motor, or shaft & bearings on belt driven models, to be removed without disconnecting inlet or discharge connections.
- All fans receive a mechanical run test to ensure proper balance and alignment before shipping.
- Arrangement 8 units come standard with shaft/coupling guards.
- Arrangement 9 and 9CB units come standard with belt guards.
- Also available in aluminum or stainless steel construction.
Benefits
- Multiple Wheel Selections: With each model being available with four to six different wheel sizes, you are almost assured that a direct drive model will be available for your performance selection. Decreases the need for larger, more expensive belt driven models.
- Rugged Construction: Housings are 7 and 10-gauge steel and are continuously welded to prevent leakage. Fan bases are 7 and 10-gauge steel to prevent pulsation at all conditions. Less field problems.
- Standard Features: All units include a teflon shaft seal to minimize leakage and discharge flanges drilled to ASA, 150-pound, and ANSI, 125-pound standard pipe sizes. No additional cost.
- Rotatable Housings: All models have housings that can be reversed and/or rotated in 45° increments in the field. Allows for field conversion without replacing the blower.
- Ease of Maintenance: Replacing a wheel, motor, or shaft and bearings on belt driven models, is easily accomplished without disturbing the inlet or discharge pipe connections. It minimizes extended downtime.
- Quality Components: All belt driven models have self-aligning, cast iron, re-lubricatable, pillow block bearings sized for a minimum 150,000 hours average life. All fan shafts are turned, ground, and polished and are coated with a high quality rust preventative before shipment. Long dependable service.
